Former Woodlands & now Darley 11-time Gr1-winning World Champion Miler & Australian Racehorse-Of-The-Year Lonhro (Octagonal-Shadea, by Straight Strike) cemented his current standing in 2nd position (behind fellow Darley stallion Exceed And Excel) on the 2nd-season sires table by winners when home-bred 2YO colt Offhanded (Lonhro-Insouciance, by Quest For Fame) opened his winning account with victory by 5.5-lengths over 1200m at Canterbury Park in Sydney yesterday at his 2nd start (following a 3rd-placing on debut on April 30) for Darley trainer Peter Snowden. The victory marked the 43rd individual winner for Lonhro this season. (May 28)
