American-bred BIANCONI is by Super-sire DANZIG from famed matriarch FALL ASPEN, a G1 winner herself and the dam of 12 winners incl. 9 SW’s, 5 G1 winners among them. From a limited 12 start career, BIANCONI won three races including the Ascot Diadem S. [G2] and was subsequently named Irish Champion 3YO Sprinter in 1998.

Entering stud in 2000, BIANCONI enjoyed immediate stud success, crowned Champion 1st Season sire in Victoria. With an outstanding career winners-runners ratio of 64.2%, BIANCONI is the Sire of 13 SW’s including recent Lightning S. [G1] winner NICCONI, now a dual G1 winner. She has a near perfect record at stud, boasting 4 winners from 5 to race, her 5th foal the Clanbrooke stable horse `This Cat’s Magic’ with a placing already from her 3 start career to date. Her first foal, Sally (by Prized), is the dam of HARRIS TWEED, the 2009 Tulloch S. [G2] winner who went on to run a close second to ROMAN EMPEROR in the AJC Derby [G1] and a gallant 5th in the Emirates Melbourne Cup [G1].

Second dam, Champion racemare BLUE DENIM, was a multiple G1 winner (AJC Queen Elizabeth Randwick S. [G1], STC H.E.Tancred S. [G1], AuRC Auckland Cup [G1]), and also placed 2nd in both the VRC Melbourne Cup [G1] and the AJCSydney Cup [G1] amongst a number of other Stakes placings. She has a perfect record at stud with 7 winners at the track incl. Group Placed Blue Music (2nd WRC New Zealand Oaks [G1], AuRC Lindauer S.
