Well, he finally made it - to Singapore that is. Arriving at the beginning of April, So Majestic still had to complete a further 3 weeks in quarantine before he could be transferred to the stables. However, on arrival, all staff at Cliff's new stables were suitably impressed. As Cliff said, "[he is] probably the nicest horse on type in the stable and other trainers have commented on what a nice individual he is." He is in full work now and we expect him to have his long awaited first start in the near future.

At this stage the ban remains in place and, whilst So Majestic will take the first plane to Singapore when it is finally lifted, he remains in full work at Narbethong. As these pictures show, he looks terrific and, given the attractive prizemoney and finite number of horses in Singapore, it could be exciting times ahead for owners.

The decision about So Majestic's future seems to have been made. He will accompany Cliff to Singapore when he is finally given clearance to go. The Equine Influenza in Australia has held him up a little but everything should be ok for the move after Christmas.

Ready to trial again at the start of July, So Majestic was unlucky to injure himself during trackwork, a small tear in his tendon detected by the vet. He has gone to the paddock to rest and recuperate but we expect he will make a full recovery.

A little shinsore following his trial win, So Explicit was rested before resuming work. A first start is yet to be set.

Winning his first trial at the end of May, So Majestic looks very much a racehorse. We look forward to his first start with much anticipation.

Coming along extremely well according to Cliff, the colt was awarded an official name. He is: So Majestic. With a trial expected in May, he is an exciting prospect for all involved.

The Colt went to Shane Bottomley in the middle of March for a few weeks pre-training, arriving at Cliff's new Flemington stables late in the month. Cliff is pleased with his condition and will push ahead.

The King's Best Colt had had enough by the end of January and spent the month of February in the paddock at Narbethong.
